I'm in Amsterdam for the 7th Sakai Conference. I arrived on Friday to get acclimated before the project coordination meeting. It unusual for me to arrive this early to an event like this but fortunately I've been able to take a few breaks from working in the hotel room to explore the city a little bit. I've been to Amsterdam several times before but had never been on a boat tour, and had never visited the Anne Frank house. Yesterday I rectified those omissions and I strongly recommend both.

There was also a photo exhibit around the corner from the Anne Frank house that is worth stopping to see if you're in the area.
